Ground Transportation

Ann Arbor is a short taxi, Uber, or bus ride from Detroit Metropolitan Airport, Michigan's major international airport right outside of Detroit. Taxis range from $40-60 each way and Ubers range from $20-30 each way (depending on traffic and surge pricing). Ann Arbor's AirRide transportation services cost only $15 each way ($12 if booked in advance), conveniently picking up passengers from the airport and dropping them off in Ann Arbor's downtown or business district.

 

The convening will be located at the Michigan Union (911 N. University, Ann Arbor, MI 48109-1265), situated in the middle of downtown Ann Arbor. Learn more about Ann Arbor's public bus service, TheRide, or the University of Michigan's free bus transportation. Additionally, Google Maps or your preferred map application will pick the most direct bus transportation route for both Ann Arbor and UM's bus services if you enter your destination.

 

Parking

Parking in Ann Arbor and on campus is often limited. For more details and maps of parking areas please visit Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authorityarborweb, and UM Parking & Transport Services. Most structures have a rate of $1.10/hr. For a list of rates for on campus structures, check out the Visitor Parking link on the Parking and Transportation Services website. On Central Campus, free parking is available during these times:

Monday-Saturday: after 6:00pm

Sunday: All Day
